Notes

Wow, yum!! I left out the garlic for my autoimmune disorder, but used all other ingredients. This is a delicious concoction.
Thanks for sharing your awesome experience!
making this right now. thanks!
Let us know how it goes!
I don’t put my garlic through a press, I don’t own one. But I do use my grater and it works very well.
Your recipe doesn’t mention how often to drink one. I assume you really don’t need it everyday?
Also, can I substitute good, natural orange juice in place of using a navel orange?
Would it make it to sweet? If I cut down, or eliminate the honey I’m losing those benefits….but I don’t want it to be to sweet either…….
Try a few different amounts the first week or so and see what works best for your tastebuds! Orange juice would work in a pinch for the same acidity and brightness. I’d say 3-4 times a week is plenty for this but it wouldn’t HURT to drink it daily if you love it and want to add it to your morning routine.
Hello! If you don’t mind me asking, why the salt? Any health benefit? Can I leave it out? Thank you
It’s mostly for flavor, but you can leave it out!
Hello! May I ask, why the salt? Can I leave it out? Thank you
I do this every day. Wonderful recipe!!
Thanks Rachel!
Is it ok for kids to drink ?
I hesitate to tell you yes or no since I’m not a medical expert. Technically, all the ingredients should be okay for kids, but I would highly advise you check with your pediatrician or medical professional before letting them have it.
Can I use minced garlic in a jar?
You can if it’s all you have, but I really prefer fresh garlic for getting the most amount of nutrients!
thanks for information for boost immunity power
Great recipe!
Thanks, Barbara!
Can these shots be pre-made and frozen in ice trays for convenience, or will this affect its effectiveness?
We suggest enjoying them as they are freshly made, but we think it would be okay if frozen for a short amount of time!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I loved how easy the website was to use and read as well as how informative it was! I was looking and searching for immunity booster information and recipes and this website gave it all in one place!! I also thought the serving size option was super helpful because I wanted to make for my whole family and didn’t know how much of everything to increase but realized that there is an easy option for it as well as the checklist of ingredients. Thank you so much, I loved it!! I’ll be sharing it on my social media and sending to my friends!!
You’re very welcome, Reem!
I make a lot of this, for me and For my wife. We take 2 tbsp every morning before any Food intake. Mentally and psychologically this is very good help in this time!
Love that! Totally agreed. I bet the ACV helps your digestion, as well. Thank you!
Does the honey have any nutritional benefit or is it just for sweetener? I want to make this for a diabetic and don’t want to use the honey.
It’s an antioxidant and has antibacterial properties, but you can leave it out!
Love this recipe!
Can it be unhealthy to drink 2-3 a day? Just for extra protection and metabolism benefits?
As long as you don’t have any contraindications, it should be fine to drink 2 or 3 a day.
Hi! This made me feel sick??
Some of the ingredients, such as raw garlic and vinegar, can have that effect on your stomach. I wouldn’t ever suggest drinking this on an empty stomach!
Hi, just made it and took a shot – very simple and tastes great! Just wondering, is this recipe for one drink or what is the serving size? I wanted to make some for family but wasn’t sure exactly how much this is supposed to serve.
This recipe makes 1 serving. I’m glad you enjoyed it, and I hope your family does, too!
Great recipe!! I was very surprised at how good it tastes. I was looking for something to boost my immune system during this pandemic. This is perfect!
I’ve definitely been drinking a lot of these lately, too. Thanks for the great review!
Taste great! I was wondering if it’s still as effective if I divide this mixture into shots? I doubled the recipe and it was enough for five shots for five people.
It’s still going to be great as a shot! Maybe not QUITE as effective, as you’re essentially halving the quantity, but still loaded with powerhouse ingredients 🙂
Fantastic recipe! Thanks so much for sharing it!
You are so welcome! I hope you enjoyed it!
What if I don’t have ginger ):
That’s OK! It’ll still be great for you 🙂
How often can or should u drink this
If you’re feeling sick, I would drink a couple a day personally. Unless you have any contraindications with any of the ingredients, it shouldn’t hurt you to drink it often, but twice a day is about the max you would need! For preventative, just once a day every few days is OK 🙂
Thanks tastes great
I there,
can you make this drink ahead of time? And keep in fridge?
Thank you
Silvana
Yes!
thank you it is really nice everyone should try it
Glad you loved it!!
Easy to make and delicious to drink! I’ve made shots like this before but never with garlic, glad to add its immune fighting properties in a sneaky way. Will continue to use this recipe in the future.
That garlic is powerful stuff! I’m so glad you liked it 🙂
Can you make more than one dose at a time?
Yes you can!
