Turn store-bought keto bread into warm and fluffy cinnamon roll bites with just a few ingredients and less than 5 minutes in the air fryer! These French-toast-style keto cinnamon roll bites are a huge hit in my house. Quick and easy, with a sweet cream cheese icing for dipping. Only 1 gram net carb per serving!

Before You Get Started

  • I used Nature’s Own Keto Soft White Burger Buns for my keto cinnamon roll bites, but any keto buns will work. You can use keto loaf bread if you’d like, but you might need to adjust the air fryer time since they’ll be a little thinner.

What I Love About This Recipe

  • If you love the warm-and-gooey centers of cinnamon rolls then you will definitely love these keto cinnamon roll bites! We used keto burger buns, melted butter, cinnamon, and a keto sweetener to create these tasty morsels, and they’re absolutely delicious.
  • The sweet cream cheese dipping icing is the perfect finishing touch. It’s sweet and tangy and creamy, everything you’d want in a cinnamon roll icing. Since it’s made with a keto sweetener, you don’t have to worry about it adding a ton of sugar to your day or spiking your blood glucose, either!
  • Together, a serving of keto cinnamon roll bites WITH the dipping icing clock in at just 1 (ONE!) GRAM OF NET CARBS!! ONE GRAM! If you’re tracking total carbs, you might want to cut back on amount of icing you enjoy in a sitting. The majority of the total carbs are found there because of the sweetener, but they’re subtractable since they’re erythritol.

Chef’s Tips

  • Be careful not to air fry the keto bread too long. You want them to be warm and lightly golden brown, but too much time in the air fryer can dry them out and make them crispy.
  • When making the icing, use just enough heavy cream to make it dippable. If you overdo it, you can thicken it up again by adding more Swerve. If you add too much Swerve, though, you might notice a strong cooling sensation, so try not to need any extra.

8 servings

Equipment

  • medium mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer
  • beater attachments for hand mixer
  • Small bowl
  • whisk
  • Large bowl or food-safe sealable plastic bag
  • air fryer
  • Tongs

Ingredients

For the Keto Cinnamon Roll Icing

  • 4 ounces full-fat cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup Confectioners Swerve
  • heavy cream as needed

For the Keto Cinnamon Roll Bites

  • ½ cup granular Swerve
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter melted
  • 4 keto buns cut into bite-sized pieces

Instructions

For the Keto Cinnamon Roll Icing

  • Add 4 ounces full-fat cream cheese and 1 tablespoon salted butter to medium mixing bowl. Beat ingredients together on medium speed until combined and smooth.
  • Continue running hand mixer and slowly add 1 cup Confectioners Swerve to bowl. Continue mixing until Swerve has been incorporated into cream cheese mixture.
  • Add heavy cream in 1-tablespoon increments, mixing well after each addition, until icing achieves desired consistency for dipping. Set aside.

For the Keto Cinnamon Roll Bites

  • Preheat air fryer to 325° Fahrenheit.
  • Add ½ cup granular Swerve and ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon to small mixing bowl. Whisk ingredients together until well-blended. Set aside.
  • Add 2 tablespoons salted butter (melted) to large bowl or sealable food-safe plastic bag, then add bite-sized pieces of 4 keto buns. Toss or stir bread bites in melted butter until well coated.
  • Transfer bread bites to air fryer basket, arranging bread bites in one even layer. Return basket to preheated air fryer.
  • Air fry bread bites 2 minutes, then remove basket and use tongs to carefully flip each piece of keto bread. Return basket to air fryer and air fry bread bites 1 additional minute, or until lightly golden.
  • Carefully remove bread bites from air fryer and return to bowl or bag. Sprinkle cinnamon-Swerve mixture over bread bites and toss or stir to coat each bread bite.

To Serve

  • Transfer cinnamon roll bites to bowl or plate. Serve immediately with icing.
  • I used Nature’s Own Keto Soft White Burger Buns, but any keto buns or bread will work.
