Okay, so I alluded to a surefire idea for your super successful Easter brunch. At some point, we decided that Easter egg hunts were just for the kids, and honestly? The best Easter egg hunts include everyone at the table, and with a little planning you can run two hunts simultaneously that will make this the Easter everyone talks about for years. Here’s how it works. The kids hunt for their eggs the usual way — filled with jelly beans, mini Reese’s, Skittles, whatever they love. Meanwhile, the adults are hunting their own set of eggs filled with Lindt truffles, Ghirardelli squares, a lip balm, maybe a folded gift card or two. Everyone’s competing, everyone’s excited, and the energy in the house is genuinely electric.

Then there’s the golden egg. One golden egg, hidden somewhere that requires actual effort to find. Whoever finds it — kid or adult — wins the prize basket.
