What Makes This Recipe So Good

Let’s play two truths and a lie. I’ll go first.

This paleo chocolate mousse dip for strawberries is refined-sugar-free and vegan, making it a healthy treat that’s so good it’s a bit shocking.

This paleo chocolate mousse dip for strawberries is crazy easy to whip together and perfect for a Valentine’s Day date night snack.

I did not stand in my studio alone in yoga pants and eat half of it after shooting the photos.

Alright, so… which one was the lie?

Well, I’ll tell you this: this paleo chocolate mousse dip for strawberries is crazy good, dairy-free, super easy, and refined-sugar-free, too. It comes together with, wait for it, a bit of microwaving and some subsequent stirring, and it’s so good slathered on fresh strawberries it should be illegal.

Chocolate-covered strawberries are quite possibly one of my favorite treats of all time, but dipping them is kind of a pain, right? And if you don’t eat them all right away, the strawberries start to wither under their chocolate shell and it’s all just… suboptimal.

So let’s do it like this: let’s make a simple but insanely rich paleo chocolate mousse dip and dunk fresh strawberries into it on Valentine’s Day (or for breakfast on Thursday morning if you’re, uh, me).

Why You’ll Love It

You’ll love this paleo chocolate mousse dip for strawberries because it’s crazy easy to make and rich, deep, and complex. Don’t skip the balsamic vinegar! I know it sounds strange, but it helps brighten and enrich the chocolate at the same time somehow, and I really, really want you to include it. Same with the cinnamon – just a dash will do, but it’s critical in deepening the chocolate flavor. Trust me on this!

Oh, and if you’re still jonesing for more paleo chocolate after this? You’ve gotta try my paleo molten lava cake recipe. I say this for your own health and safety! They’ll, not to get hyperbolic or anything, change your life.

  1. Hello, we don’t own a microwave. Can we use the stove to gently warm up the ingredients until they melt ? Thank you very much x

    1. Hi, Matthew! No worries about not having a microwave- step 1 on the recipe card actually includes steps on how to heat the ingredients over the stovetop. Let us know if you try it! 🙂
