I’ve been phasing out traditional nonstick for a while now — and honestly? It’s been a journey. Coated pans scratch, wear down, and sit in the back of your mind as a low-key concern every time you see a fleck of coating floating in your eggs. So when I got my hands on the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro, I was ready. A coating-free, PFAS-free titanium interior at professional-grade heat tolerance? Yes, please, so here’s my full, honest review.

What is the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro?

The Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro is a 10.5-inch skillet built with a patented no-coating titanium interior — meaning there’s no nonstick coating to scratch, chip, or worry about. Instead of a surface coating, the titanium itself does the work, delivering effortless food release without any PFAS, PFOA, or other traditional nonstick concerns. Its construction is trippy, all composed of a combo of stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium, which means it heats fast and has even heat distribution, whether you’re searing chicken thighs or finishing a frittata in a 500°F oven. It comes in several finishes, and yesss — it is as gorgeous as it sounds!

My Real Review of the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro

Okay, I have to be real with you: I was skeptical going in. I’ve had stainless steel pans that stuck like they were auditioning for the role, and I’ve had coated pans that scratched within 6 months of regular use. The coating on my old nonstick had started showing wear, and once I noticed it, I couldn’t un-notice it — so I knew it was time to make a real change. I wasn’t sure a coating-free titanium pan could actually deliver on the “effortless release” promise without a coating doing the work.

My friends, it delivers.

The titanium technology — engineered to mimic the Lotus Effect, which is genuinely one of nature’s most nonstick surfaces — means food releases beautifully without any coating involved. The heat distribution is exceptional across the full surface, no hot spots, no uneven cooking. I’ve seared chicken thighs in it, scrambled eggs, done a quick sauté of garlic and greens, and finished a pasta sauce, all in the same week.

And yes, I need to talk about the spatula. I know it sounds like a small thing. It is not a small thing. It’s a beautiful, well-balanced metal spatula with a silicone tip, and the patented spatula rest built into the pan’s handle means my counter stays clean. That’s the kind of thoughtful detail that makes this pan feel worth every cent.

The lid is super duper handy for simmering without splashing, and the gold finish is stunning — it genuinely looks beautiful sitting on my stovetop, and since I started leaving it out, I’ve made more food. If I love how something looks, I use it more. That’s just who I am.

What Are the Pros?

  • The titanium interior is engineered to mimic the Lotus Effect for effortless release, and it genuinely works. It’s coating-free and actually nonstick, which I honestly wasn’t sure was possible until I used it myself.
  • The heat distribution is professional-grade. The tri-ply construction means the heat moves across the pan fast and evenly —whether I’m searing or scrambling, everything cooks exactly the way it should.
  • It goes up to 1000°F in the oven. One thousand degrees! I’ve never used an oven-safe pan that didn’t feel like a limitation at some point — this one simply isn’t.
  • The included spatula with its built-in rest system is one of my favorite kitchen tools now, full stop. It came with the pan, and it has become a forever utensil.
  • It’s dishwasher safe. For a pan this elevated in materials and design, the fact that I can use metal tools, throw it in the dishwasher, and not cringe a little? Huge.

What Are the Cons?

  • If you’re used to a coated pan where food floats off regardless of heat or fat, there’s a real adjustment here. You need to preheat the pan properly and use enough fat — butter, oil, whatever your preference — otherwise you’ll get sticking. It’s not difficult, but it is a technique shift, and fair warning: your first attempt might not go perfectly.
  • With regular high-heat use, the interior darkens. This is completely normal and doesn’t affect performance at all, but if you’re expecting that bright titanium finish to stay pristine forever, it won’t. Think of it like a well-seasoned cast iron — character, not damage.
  • The chrome finish is a fingerprint magnet. It’s gorgeous, but it shows every single handprint, water spot, and smudge. I wipe it down constantly. This is a small and very vain complaint, but I promised you honesty: keep a microfiber cloth nearby.
  • The Standard size is genuinely great for everyday cooking, but if you regularly cook for a crowd, you may find yourself wanting the Large (12.5″). For my typical weeknight meals, it’s perfect — just know your cooking volume going in.

Conclusion: Is the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro Worth it?

If you’re like me and have been wanting to get rid of toxic nonstick coatings without giving up an actually-functional everyday pan, this is the answer. The titanium interior genuinely delivers — coating-free, PFAS-free, and nonstick in a way that makes complete sense once you understand how it works. Once you dial in the technique (preheat, fat, patience), it cooks as beautifully as any pan I’ve used.

The learning curve is real, and so is the price. But the Titanium Always Pan Pro is built to last a lifetime, and it shows in every detail — from the fully-clad tri-ply construction to the included spatula to the finish that looks just as good on your stovetop as it does in your cabinet. If you’re ready to make the switch away from traditional nonstick, I don’t think you’ll regret it for one second!!
