Recipe Makes (Approximate): 6 hard-boiled eggs

Equipment

  • air fryer
  • Tongs
  • Large bowl filled with cold water and ice

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs

Instructions

  • Set air fryer to 300° Fahrenheit and allow air fryer to preheat 5 minutes.
  • Once air fryer has preheated, place 6 large eggs in air fryer basket and return basket to air fryer.
  • Air fry eggs 9 minutes for soft-boiled eggs, 11 minutes for medium-boiled eggs, or 13 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
  • When cook time ends, immediately (and carefully) transfer eggs from air fryer basket to ice bath. Allow eggs to rest in ice bath until completely cooled.
  • Once eggs have cooled, peel eggs and serve, or refrigerate eggs until ready to serve.

Recipe Notes

  • Cook Time: Time may vary based on the make and model of your air fryer. Test one egg prior to cooking whole patch to ensure desired texture of yolk.
  • Tricks for Peeling Boiled Eggs: Place egg in a glass that's roughly half filled with water. Place hand (or a lid or cover of some sort) over top of glass and shake glass violently until egg shell begins to crack. Alternately, roll hard-boiled egg back and forth on countertop, pressing down with palm of hand while rolling to apply gentle pressure.
