2-Ingredient Keto Magic Shell (Sugar-Free Chocolate Shell)
This simple sugar-free ice cream topping is just like your favorite store-bought version, but it's totally keto friendly!

- 9 ounces keto chocolate chips see Notes
- 3 tablespoons refined coconut oil
Add 9 ounces keto chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons refined coconut oil to medium microwave-safe bowl. Stir just to incorporate, then place bowl in microwave.
Microwave chocolate and coconut oil at 50% power in 30-second bursts, stirring well after each burst. Continue microwaving until chocolate is almost completely melted. Stir to finish melting chocolate chips.
Let magic shell mixture rest 1 to 2 minutes, then pour over keto ice cream and serve.
- Sugar-free chocolate can burn easily, so don't overdo it in the microwave. Stir it frequently and microwave in short bursts.
- Chocolate Chips: I prefer Lily's or ChocZero milk chocolate chips for this recipe, but dark chocolate would work well, too.
- Make it Dairy Free: Use dairy-free chocolate chips.
- Make it Vegan: Use vegan chocolate chips.
- Leftovers: Refrigerate leftover magic shell in an airtight container up to 2 weeks. To reheat, repeat original process, stirring well between each 30-second burst in the microwave.
