Instructions

Create Your Moon Template

Fill the Moon

  • Fill paper template with 8 ounces crumbled aged white cheddar and 4 ounces blue cheese pieces, starting with largest chunks first.
  • Add 4 ounces white cheese curds to fill gaps, creating textured moon surface.
  • Carefully remove paper template, leaving crescent moon of cheese in place.

Assemble the Board

  • Arrange 2 cups purple cauliflower florets in clusters around one side of moon.
  • Place small bowls containing 1 cup candied pecans and 1/3 cup dried cherries to keep contained.
  • Fill larger spaces with 3 ounces purple potato chips and 3 ounces blue corn tortilla chips, overlapping slightly.
  • Add 2 cups black grapes in clusters around board to fill spaces.
  • Scatter 12 dark chocolate truffles, 1/2 cup dried figs, and 1/2 cup dried plums throughout board.
  • Cut star shapes from 6 ounces mild white cheddar and scatter around board like fallen stars.
  • Finish with 1 cup fresh blackberries, 1/2 cup purple gummy candies, 8 ounces purple carrot sticks, 4 ounces seeded crackers, and 4 ounces blueberry goat cheese as a centerpiece.
