Around this time last year, O popped the big question.. and I said yes! We opted for a spring wedding and, thinking we’d like to stay engaged, decided to get married in the spring of 2014, rather than whipping together a quick wedding a few months later. I had a pretty solid reason to expect a proposal around the time that it actually happened, so we planned a bit in advance. Thank goodness we did!
There are so many small details with a wedding and getting everything done that it can become overwhelming.. quickly. So I wrote a guest blog for my amazing wedding photographer, Amy Hutchinson, that cuts through the noise and tells you the most important things to do now that you’re engaged. We booked Amy right after our venue, and that allowed us to plan the engagement shoot of our dreams.. while ensuring the photographer of our dreams would be at our big day at the venue of our dreams! Lots of dreams going on.. and that’s the way it should be, right? If you attack these few relatively simple things head-on, you can enjoy the moment and rest assured that your big day will be just that–of your dreams.
Check out the full post at Amy’s blog, and while you’re there, peruse her photos. Aren’t you jealous she’s not your wedding photographer?
I know you are. You can’t have her. She’s mine.. all mine!
Just kidding. I’m pretty sure she’d be elated to capture your wedding and engagement session on film, and I’ll just have to learn to share.
