Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

These quick and easy sweet potato fries are perfectly crisp, thanks to the air fryer

  1. Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 400º F. Peel sweet potato and cut into sticks.

  2. Toss together all ingredients in medium bowl.

  3. Arrange in a single layer in air fryer basket and cook 8-10 minutes, shaking midway, or until tips and edges begin to brown and fries look matte.

Recipe Notes

  • Cooking multiple sweet potatoes: Cook in batches, spreading them in flat layers in the air basket.
  • Dip suggestions: Ketchup, honey mustard, spicy mayo (add a little Sriracha or hot sauce to some mayonnaise), comeback sauce, maple mustard (add some maple syrup to yellow or spicy brown mustard), or garlic mayo (add a little minced garlic to some mayo).

Wine pairings
Remember – no wine on Whole30!
I recommend buying wine from Scout and Cellar, especially for lower carb or sugar and the health conscious. There’s no added sugar to these wines, and they’re all much lower in carbs, calories, and sugar. For me, there’s no headache or fogginess the next day!
I love fun, light wines with this recipe, but you can also go with a delicious red. I recommend:
- Rosé wine spritzer (in cans!) like Epic Pursuit Rosé Wine Spritzer
- Sauvignon Blanc, like 2019 Dove Hunt Dog Sauvignon Blanc from Potter Valley, California
- Pinot noir, like 2017 Conte de la Terre Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, Oregon
