Maca Latte with Coffee
Made with maca powder, espresso, and your favorite milk, and packed with powerful antioxidants and nutrients to help you feel your best. Easy to make caffeine-free.
Servings 1 latte
Heat medium saucepan over medium-low heat. When pan is warm, add 1 cup milk of choice and heat, stirring occasionally, until warm.
Add cacao, maca powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to saucepan. Whisk well to combine, then let mixture simmer. Whisk occasionally until mixture is hot or very warm (as desired).
If using sieve or strainer, fit tool over serving mug or glass. Slowly and carefully, pour liquid through strainer and into container. Discard any clumps or sediment collected by strainer.
Pour espresso shot on top of maca latte in serving mug. Stir to incorporate if desired and serve immediately.
- For a foamy top on your latte, vigorously whisk the latte mixture just before pouring it into your mug.
- Make it Vegan: Use a vegan milk.
- Make it Paleo: Use a dairy-free milk (coconut milk from a can preferred).
