1.5ounceshot peppermint schnapps(optional.. but heartily recommended)
1/4cupwhipped cream, optional
crushed peppermint candies or candy canes, optional, for garnish
Combine half-and-half and milk in a small saucepan over medium heat and heat 'til warm. Stir in chocolate chips and whisk until melted and totally smooth. Add in a dash of vanilla extract and peppermint oil, then taste. When satisfied with your extract balance, stir in peppermint schnapps.
Top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes, and serve.
