Paleo Sangria (Spanish Style)

This paleo sangria is just like an authentic Spanish-style sangira but made with healthier ingredients. It's sweet, strong, and delicious, just like a paleo sangria should be! You'll love this paleo sangria because it's so easy to make ahead and only takes a few minutes to prepare, but it'll become an absolute favorite with your friends. Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons honey
  • 6 tablespoons warm water
  • 1 bottle bottle red wine
  • 1 whole apple , sliced
  • 1 whole orange , slipced
  • 1 whole lemon , sliced
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • ½ cup brandy
  • 1 cup sparkling water , as desired

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey and warm water until smooth. Pour contents of bottle of wine into a large pitcher and stir honey mixture into wine. Pour in brandy and stir in fruit. Cover and let steep for at least 2 hours, preferably longer. 
  • When ready to serve, use a wooden spoon to lightly crush fruit. Then add in sparkling water until desired taste is reached. Pour into serving glasses and include fruit!
