Tuna Noodle  Casserole

Step 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook egg noodle until just al dente. Drain & place in casserole dish.

Step 2. Assemble the pasta in an even layer

Make the sauce. Melt butter in medium sauce pan over medium heat.

Add flour and stir until smooth. Cook 1 min, stirring constantly until mixture is golden.

Slowly add milk while whisking constantly.

Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until thickened and bubbly.

Stir in the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Remove from heat.

Add 1 cup of cheese. Stir until creamy.

Pour the sauce over the drained noodles. Add tuna & green peas & stir to combine. Bake in oven for 15 mins.

Melt butter over medium heat in pan. Add bread crumbs and stir until combined.

Remove from oven & top with breadcrumbs and more shredded cheese.

Return to oven and bake for 5 more mins.
